After sharing a Playlist, you can view the Stats to see if and how your recipient(s) interacted with it.
At a glance
Stats are generated on shared Playlists, but depending on the share method selected, only some stats will show specifically which recipient took a particular action.
What's included in Playlist Stats
Playlist Stats show who* has accessed your playlist, what action(s) were taken, and the number of each action taken. Actions include:
- Page views
- Playlist downloads
- Track downloads
- Streams
*Dependent on the share method selected.
These actions are listed in the top row, and you can click each one to sort the stats by a specific action:
How Stats are assigned to recipients
Stats are assigned to specific recipients based on which method you used to share your Playlist.
Both the Email playlist directly and Assign URL to a contact Playlist share methods will assign stats to the specific recipients selected.
The Copy URL method will also generate stats, but these will be aggregated under "Other recipients."

View all Stats for a particular Playlist
- Open the Playlist Menu (⋮) and select Stats.
View all Stats for a particular Contact
You can either:
- Click on their name on the Stats page for a particular Playlist.
- Open their Contact page and scroll down to Activity.
Breaking down the specifics
You can see which specific Tracks were streamed and downloaded by clicking on the drop down arrow on the left of a contact's name:
If there is a higher amount of activity, you'll be able to click the link to show more tracks:
The Stats page may also look different depending on the scenario.
- If there are no stats, the page will look like this:
- As soon as you share your Playlist with a Contact, their name will appear on the Stats page, even if they haven't interacted with it yet and there is no activity:
Team Inbox Stats
When you share a Playlist to a Team Inbox of another DISCO, you'll see individualized stats for users already in your Contacts. The activity of all other users is aggregated under "Other recipients" to protect the privacy of those users.
Example:
You can see activity from the user Pam Beesley because we sent this Playlist to a Team Inbox that Pam had access to, and Pam is a Contact in our DISCO. Activity from other users who have access to that Inbox is listed under "Other recipients" because they are not Contacts in our DISCO.
When you share a Playlist, an individual Track, or a DISCO Catalog, or when you embed your DISCO Tracks on an external site, you can view the Stats for the individual Tracks! For Playlist-level Stats, visit this article.
At a glance
On the Stats page for a Track, you can see a list of unique Listeners and the Sources they came from.
What's included in Track Stats
Activities
- Unique Listeners → how many distinct Contacts have accessed the Track. Their activity is assigned to the Track from their email or DISCO account info.
- Page Views → how many times the Track’s Share page has been viewed via the URL. This number doesn't include views of Playlist Share pages where the same Track has been streamed or downloaded.
- Downloads/Saves → how many times the Track has been downloaded, either directly to the recipient's device or to their own DISCO using the Save to DISCO feature.
- Streams → how many times the Track has been streamed by a Listener. This refers to individual listening sessions for the Track from the Sources listed.
These are displayed at the top of the Stats window from both the Listeners and the Sources tabs.
Listeners tab
Includes a list of Listeners by Name* and the specific action(s) they took.
*See the section How Stats are assigned to recipients for more details.
There's also a column showing the date of their Last Activity.
Notes:
- Other Recipients is a collection of activity from a non-assigned Public Share pages and is counted as one Unique Listener.
- If you or another user in your DISCO are logged in and interact with a Track from a Public Share page, those interactions are not counted in the Stats.
Source tab
The Source indicates which Share page the Track Stats originated from.
Track Stats are generated from the following Sources:
- Track shares
- Playlist shares
- DISCO Catalogs
- Embeds
Note: If a Track is downloaded, saved, or streamed from a Playlist Share page, that Playlist will be included as a Source for Downloads, Saves, and Streams.
How Stats are assigned to recipients
Only some stats will show specifically which recipient took a particular action, while others will be attributed to Other Recipients.
This could mean that a Playlist/Track was shared using a method that doesn't generate contact-specific Stats (e.g. Copy URL).
Stats are assigned to specific recipients if they're accessing a Playlist or Track share page you sent them using the Email playlist/track or Assign URL to a contact share methods, or if they're accessing your Playlist/Track from their DISCO Inbox.
Viewing Track Stats
Open the Track Menu (⋮) and select Stats.
If there are no Stats, the page will look like this:
If the track has stats available, you can click on an action to sort the stats:
